What’s the Catch?
- At the moment, Pilote only offers a limited range of products. Most of these apparel items are fashion wear and not purposely designed for sailing. You are probably still going to compete in your Musto or Henri Lloyd or Zhik gear if you are going to get wet!
- There are a couple of setup fees. Each different design you want to use for embroidery has a USD $10 fee to get it ready for production. The good news is that you only have to pay this once per design.
- Production and delivery can take up to 20 days. So do your planning. If you have a big race or a regatta coming up, leave plenty of time to get your stuff.

- Can I get Pilote to sponsor me for the cost of the kit?
- Maybe. We are looking for sailors, teams, yacht clubs and regattas who can promote our brand. You need to be savvy at social – you need a fan-base that you can influence.
- Can you help me with design?
- Yes. We can design unique logos or just use your sail number and the name of the boat. Maybe you want to retro, maybe you want crazy colours. Our design team can help – for a small fee. Or… you can use a site like Fiver to find designers to help you and then we’ll get the kit made.
- Can I get a bulk discount?
- Yes. If you want a few hundred shirts, there is 5% discount. If you want 1000+ shirts, then there is a 10% discount. And there may be other deals that we can do. So get in touch.
